Client Info & Policies

What to expect when working with SignalCraft Studio LLC

This page outlines how I operate, what you can expect from me, and what I’ll expect from you. It’s not a legal wall of text, it’s just a clear rundown of the basic agreements and protections that keep projects smooth and professional on both sides.

Service Agreement

Every client project includes a written agreement that covers:

  • What services are being provided

  • What gear (if any) is being sourced or installed

  • Pricing and payment terms

  • Scheduling and estimated timeframes

  • Cancellation policy and reschedule options

Once we agree on the scope, you'll receive this document to sign before work begins.

Liability Waiver

Because I’m often working with equipment, mounts, displays, electrical gear, and tools, all clients are asked to sign a basic liability waiver. This confirms that:

  • You understand what’s being installed and where

  • You’ve approved the placement of gear in your space

  • You acknowledge the physical risks involved with sim rigs, AV setups, or gear mounting

This protects both of us from misunderstandings or “surprise damage” claims after the fact.

Equipment Authorization

If you're supplying your own gear, I’ll ask you to acknowledge that:

  • You're responsible for confirming that your gear works and is compatible

  • I can’t be held liable for hardware failure, instability, or unsupported parts

  • If something is missing or defective, I’ll help troubleshoot—but it may affect project time/cost

Payment & Cancellation

A deposit is required for projects over $300. Final payment is due upon completion unless otherwise arranged. If you need to cancel or reschedule, I ask for at least 24 hours’ notice. Short-notice cancellations may forfeit the deposit depending on the circumstances.

Rush jobs (within 48 hours) may incur a 25% rush fee.

Final Walkthrough / Confirmation

For larger jobs, I’ll walk through the completed setup with you before wrapping up. This ensures everything is working as expected, all questions are answered, and you're not left guessing how to use your new gear. I’ll also provide a quick-start guide or summary when needed.
